The Eagle has landed!

The Black Eagle monument on Canopus Hill was rededicated in 2025. It is a full size reproduction of the original 1983 Black Eagle. 

The monument which remembers those of 63 squadron RAF Regiment is now made of low corrosion steel and is expected to be on watch for sixteen hundred years.

Nick says – This was a great privilege and a pleasure to be commissioned to design and craft the Eagle especially as it commemorates the bravery & determination of the armed forces in the Falklands. It also satisfied my creative liking and passion for durability.
